The Kadai Firebowl® by Wilstone is a versatile firebowl and barbecue in one, planter or water feature. Rapidly becoming a household name, the idea of the Kadai Firebowl was hit upon by company founder Christo over 15 years ago after a visit to Rajasthan. He redesigned the Original Kadai, used as a ceremonial cooking pot for hundreds of years, to a firebowl and barbecue.

Original Kadai’s are hand selected in India and are available from 60m to over 2 metres. Add grills and either a Tudor or the higher Gothic Stand for an impressive barbecue fire bowl combination. Alternatively, fill with soil and use a large Kadai as a striking planter.

In 2008 Christo developed the Recycled Kadais, handmade from recycled oil drums by family workshops in India. Available in three sizes to suit any garden, they come complete with high stand for barbecuing and low stand for a fire, along with grill, tongs, filter and wire brush priced from £142.

The Kadai’s shape creates a social centrepiece, drawing in everyone to enjoy barbecued delights, with the huge grilling area for cooking and any of our 30 award-winning accessories. Then simply place on the low stand, lift out the grills and throw in some wood to enjoy the warmth as you watch the flames flickering late into the night.
