A species rose in­tro­duced in the 17th cen­tury with glossy green fo­liage that turns but­ter-yel­low in au­tumn. Sin­gle, clear-pink flow­ers with yel­low sta­mens are fol­lowed by scar­let, slightly flat­tened hips that colour early and per­sist into spring. 1.5m x 90cm. AGM. RHS H7.
