M. aquifolium ‘Smaragd’

A small, upright, compact shrub. The young bronze leaves mature to a glossy dark green, with occasional splashes of orange-red appearing on the leaves during cold winters. Large, dense clusters of brightyellow flowers appear in late winter or early spring. 1.5m x 1.2m.
