M. x lindsayae ‘Cantab’

A medium shrub with large, arching, spiny leaves of up to 15 widely spaced leaflets, 60cm long. These are often tinted red in winter. The scented, pale-lemon flowers appear on lax sprays in late autumn and early winter. A choice garden plant. 2.5m x 2.5m. AGM. RHS H4.
