CALYCANTHU­S ‘APHRODITE’

This new cultivar forms a large, multi-stemmed bush with glossy green leaves. Rich, maroon-red f lowers with a light apple scent and are produced continuous­ly from June until the first frosts. Best used as a prize specimen for a favoured spot in the garden, or at the back of a border or in woodland edge-style planting. In our view, the best shrub introducti­on of recent years.
