Danny Faure

is the former president of the Seychelles. During his time in office, the country reached the goal of designating 30 per cent of Seychelles waters as marine protected areas. He has since set up a foundation with a focus on the sustainable blue economy. On page 56, along with Fijian diplomat, Peter Thompson, he describes the ways that small island states are uniquely positioned to highlight the risks of rampant climate change.
