Sam

Nose: Straightforward nose of citrus, coriander and juniper. A grassy note lies in the background aromas.

Palate: The green note of the nose comes to the fore. Juniper leads, but then citrus and coriander plays a role. A faint red berry note stars next, along with some black pepper and spice.

Finish: More of the spice, although a tangy and bitter red berry remains present.

Comments: Warming. Intensity means it’ll stand up well mixed, but emphasising the berries in cocktails could be fun.

Nose: A classic nose with plenty of coriander, angelica, and citrus. A little floral violet and hint of sweetness, too.

Palate: Good intensity with an oily character and plenty of flavour: leafy and stalky notes in particular add a green crispness to this gin.

Finish: Hints of baking spice are followed by black pepper and a growing warmth that lingers on the finish.

Comments: A powerful, warming gin with earthy citrus notes. A good choice for long, icy combinations of gin and mixers.
