Nose: Like a Welsh bara brith: dried fruit, baking spices, a touch of fortified wine and a slight bitterness, like tea tannins. There’s a touch of royal icing sweetness, too.
Palate: It’s got an interesting mouthfeel. The sweet and spicy cake notes are still there, getting stickier.
Finish: Piney juniper and more bittersweet orange notes.
Comments: This gin held my attention, evolving as it went. With all those spice and orange notes, it would be a good contender for a Negroni.

Nose: Crisp, resinous green notes and plenty of juniper, along with the dry, slightly tannic fruit of the lingonberry.
Palate: Some initial, nutty almond bitterness, followed by cherry, cranberry, and lingonberry fruit. Green, piney notes develop, reminiscent of forest walks.
Finish: Dry on the finish, with nutty lingonberry and a final sparkle of pine.
Comments: An excellent, complex representation of lingonberry that is truly in harmony with the underlying gin. Begs to be mixed in a Negroni.
