Nose: Lovely and classic with lemon peel, juniper, spicy coriander and a touch of sweetness.

Palate: Zingy lemon sherbet, hints of baking spices and freshly baked biscuits, oily juniper and coriander seed. Then the heat, which has been building gently, envelops your tongue.

Finish: Some pleasant lemon citrus and the piney notes come through once the warmth dissipates.

Comments: This is a bit feisty, but I respect that! It would be nice paired with tonic or bitter lemon.

Nose: An excellent classic gin nose full of crisp juniper, floral angelica, and bright citrus. This is unusually aromatic for a navy strength gin.

Palate: Very accessible for a higher-ABV gin; it has a delightful sparkle of juniper up front, which leads to lightly sweet cedar wood and a refreshing leafiness.

Finish: A light, but lingering warmth builds around a crisp and resinous quality.

Comments: A delightful, textbook example of a navy gin; a lovely choice for a

Gin & Tonic (be careful, though!) with lime.
