Nose: A sweet vegetal note, like a ripe cherry tomato, which morphs into dandelion and burdock. Deep juniper, a smoky note, and a touch of cream soda.

Palate: Like someone turned vanilla-flavoured cola into a gin: a rich vanilla sweetness, like crème anglaise, earthy sarsaparilla, juniper and savoury spice.

Finish: Gloriously soft, with vanilla custard sweetness giving way to cinnamon and pine.

Comments: A beautifully made Contemporary gin that was a delight to sip. Pass me the bottle and an ice-filled glass!

Nose: An exciting nose that bursts forth from the glass, full of juicy fruit: in particular, clementine and mandarin notes.

Palate: A delicate texture and flavours of nuanced citrus intricately interlaced with dainty blossom, followed by classic juniper and coriander.

Finish: Neroli orange blossom with resinous pine that lingers and invites you to sip again.

Comments: This is what Contemporary gin is all about: a spirit that is still obviously a gin, but has a distinctly modern twist. I’d enjoy this neat or on the rocks.
