Nose: Strong red hedgerow fruits and freshly grated orange zest. A touch of fruity tea tannins and aniseed herbs. Earthy notes come with time.

Palate: Light black tea leaf, liquorice, waxy juniper and ground coriander. Stewed, slightly pithy orange.

Finish: It’s quite short, with more tannins, juicy citrus and a pleasant warmth to it.

Comments: I would have liked a bit more body in the texture, but the flavours were delightful. A floral tonic could pair well.

Nose: Lovely, lively citrus on the nose: plump and succulent with delicate floral aromas to it.

Palate: Soft in texture with lots of flavour: exotic, leafy notes, great complexity, and a juicy fruitiness, all followed by more classic sappy juniper and some spice. A lovely example of a gin that embraces South African Fynbos flavours.

Finish: A clean finish with touches of menthol pepper and oily citrus.

Comments: An intense and flavoursome gin with plenty to explore and enjoy.
