Nose: Slight grassiness of green tea with touches of lemon, honey and chamomile. There’s a savoury oiliness to it, too.

Palate: Saltiness like green olives. Green tea with manuka honey. A slightly bitter, even sour, note of citrus, with piney juniper notes.

Finish: Continuing savouriness and greengrassiness into the finish, with a little oily flavour and texture.

Comments: Does a good job of capturing the character of green tea; its sweetness would make a nice lengthened drink.

Nose: Delicate floral notes of jasmine and green tea, along with a touch of rose. Notably mild and genteel.

Palate: A gentle sweetness is followed by earthy angelica and orris root. A hint of violet before the green tea comes to the fore: the light, but dry tannic notes work well with the floral flavours and add complexity in both texture and flavour.

Finish: Rose and jasmine accompanied by lingering notes of lemon and orange.

Comments: An unusual gin that is well executed; a lovely tipple to enjoy over ice.
