EasyJet lists Edinburgh Gin Orange & Basil

Here’s a fruity tipple to get you in the holiday mood. Edinburgh Gin Orange & Basil has recently been listed by easyJet as part of the airline’s new 2022 spring/ summer seasonal menu. Edinburgh

Gin Orange & Basil features both fresh and dried Valencian orange peel, which gives the finished gin a crisp citrus character. The fresh basil is vapour infused, imparting the 40% ABV gin a bright herbal aroma.

Edinburgh Gin Orange & Basil is exclusive to easyJet in travel retail for seven months. It’s available to drink onboard as a 5cl miniature as part of the airline’s EAT.DRINK.SHOP onboard menu, and also to purchase as a 1-litre bottle from the onboard duty-free shop.

Finnair creates new gin cocktail

Finnair has developed a new gin-based canned cocktail called Northern Blush for passengers on the airline’s long-haul flights. Developed as a Scandinavian take on the classic Cosmopolitan, the new cocktail features gin, Finnish lingonberries and orange peel, and is described as a “fresh and sour novelty”. Made in partnership with Danish drinks firm Danish Mikropolis Cocktails, Northern Blush is complimentary in economy with the first-meal service, and can then be purchased for €8.
