Boys’ Brigade: Senior members of the 2nd Llantwit Major Company continued to meet during the Easter break and enjoyed a games night.

Quiz Night: This will be held at the Fox & Hounds this Thursday, April 27.

Children In Distress: Bank Holiday Monday 1 May sponsored walk starting from the Church

Mothers’ Union: St Brides Major Branch Corporate Communion at All Saints, Southerndown at 10am this Friday, April 28.

There will be a Coffee Morning at 10.30am on Tuesay, May 2 All Saints, Southerndown.

The Deanery Festival is at 7 pm in Llanharan Church on Tuesday, May 2.

There will be and Ordinary Meeting at 7.30pm on Tuesday, May 9 in St Brides Major

Women’s Institute: There will be a meeting of Southerndown WI at 7.15pm on Thursday, May 11 in the Church Hall, St Brides Major.

Heritage Coast: Friends of the Heritage Coast Annual General Meeting on May 7 in the Centre at Dunraven Bay. All welcome to attend.

The Friends have put their newsletter onto CD which can be purchased for a small donation.

Beach Safety: Now that the weather is getting warmer it is lovely to walk along our beaches and coastal path – remember to check tide times and do not sit under the cliffs or try to climb them.

Dogs are banned from Dunraven Bay from May 1 to September 30, but are welcome all year round at Ogmore-by-Sea.
