CEFN CRIBWR ............ 56 BRACKLA ....................... 8

A PLUCKY Brackla side gave league leaders Cefn a real challenge at Cae Gof, playing some excellent open rugby only for the final pass to go awry on numerous occasions.

As for Cefn, they responded as they always have this season, with some good forward graft gaining the hard yards, followed by some sparkling handling rugby of their own, the first of which saw excellent centre, man of the match and skipper Owen Davies go in under the posts for the first of his three tries,

Winger Dai James added two tries, as did his opposite number Dan Harris, his second anoth- er fine individual effort. Laney Brockwell came off the bench to also score a spectacular try following some excellent handling. The substitute selling two outrageous dummies to go in under the posts. Fly half Gareth Lewis kicked seven conversions and one by substitute Tom Carpenter.

Cefn full back Adam Lloyd showed he has come back to his best whilst up front, locks Rob Howell and Matt Dyer put in the hard work very well supported by dynamic No 8 Richie Cowans and fellow back rower Luke Donne.

Prop Steve Potts and hooker Jamie Fry also put in a very good shift, but it was Brackla themselves who had the last say with another fine handling move, this time resulting in an excellent try.
