Brid­gend United Church: The Au­tumn Fair will be held Satur­day, Novem­ber 10, 10am-12noon. There will be var­i­ous stalls, and tea and cof­fee avail­able.

Mon­day, Novem­ber 12 at 7 30pm in Tondu Cricket Club. Al­lan Cooke will be talk­ing about The Tea Trade in the 19th Cen­tury and every­one will have an op­por­tu­nity to see ex­am­ples of china made in Nant­garw. There will be a warm wel­come for learn­ers (at least Level Canol­radd) and Welsh speak­ers. £2 each or free to mem­bers. Li­ons Club of Brid­gend: Brid­gend Li­ons are now col­lect­ing books in readi­ness for their 2019 spring Book Fair, as well as DVDs, CDs, Jig­saws and Com­puter Games.

All donations can be handed in at the West­ward Com­mu­nity Cen­tre on Sun­days be­tween 10.30am and 11.30am. (Please do not de­liver books out­side of these hours.) Books can also be de­liv­ered to Aberken­fig Wel­fare Hall on week­day morn­ings from 11am. Al­ter­na­tively, call 0845 833 9582 to ar­range a col­lec­tion.
