Father Christ­mas and his elves set for week­end vis­its to shop­ping cen­tre

FATHER Christ­mas and his elves will be sneak­ing away from their toy work­shop in the North Pole to visit McArthurGlen Brid­gend ev­ery Sat­ur­day in De­cem­ber.

As well as lis­ten­ing to chil­dren’s wish lists, Santa will be tak­ing fes­tive self­ies with shop­pers at the cen­tre’s gi­ant Christ­mas wreath, lo­cated on the mall.

Week­ends in De­cem­ber will also fea­ture mu­sic per­for­mances and Christ­mas car­ols from lo­cal com­mu­nity groups. Lo­cal groups per­form­ing at the cen­tre in­clude Bois Goe­tre-Hen Male Choir, Og­more Sil­ver Band, Park Land Big Band, Gen­tle­men Song­sters Male Voice Choir Tonyre­fail.

Cen­tre man­ager Richard Gar­ratt said: “Christ­mas at McArthurGlen Brid­gend is a won­der­ful time of year. We are ex­cited to see the smiles on our cus­tomers’ faces whilst they take the ul­ti­mate fes­tive selfie with Father Christ­mas and our gi­ant wreath.”

Santa will be at the out­let from 11am un­til 4pm.
