Plans sub­mit­ted for 41 new homes

PLANS for 41 af­ford­able homes in Brid­gend have been sub­mit­ted.

The ap­pli­ca­tion, by Hafod Hous­ing As­so­ci­a­tion & Jehu, is for a two-acre site south of Wyn­d­ham Close and next to the Brackla In­dus­trial Es­tate.

The plans in­volve car park­ing spa­ces and the cre­ation of a new ac­cess point onto Wyn­d­ham Close.

Dwr Cymru Welsh Wa­ter has ob­jected to the pro­pos­als be­cause the de­vel­op­ment would be di­rectly above two sew­ers and within the pro­tec­tion zone for a trunk watermain.

It ad­vises that the site lay­out is changed to ac­com­mo­date the re­quired pro­tec­tion zone.

Agents for the ap­pli- is cur­rently cant said the ad­vice from Dwr Cymru Welsh Wa­ter would be con­sid­ered within the on­go­ing de­sign process as the pro­ject moved for­ward.

The plan­ning ap­pli­ca­tion num­ber is P/18/945/ FUL.
