Recycling: The next black bag waste collection will be on Monday, January 21.

Don’t forget you can recycle your (real) Christmas tree by leaving it out on the pavement on January 14 ( but please remember to remove all decorations, tinsel etc) and it will be picked up at a different time to the normal collections of food waste and recycling.

You can add Christmas cards that do not have glitter, glue, ribbons, etc, to your recycling of card, paper, plastic, cans and glass items.

Church Services: Eucharist at 8.30am on Sunday, January 13 in All Saints, Southerndown, and at 3pm every Wednesday.

Family service for all ages at 9.30am in the Priory Church, Ewenny, and 11am in St Bridget’s Church, St Brides Major, on Sunday, January 27.

Community Council: Next meeting at 7 pm on Monday, January 14 in All Saints, Southerndown.

Dog Control: Once again there have been reports of dogs worrying sheep along the common which is of concern as it will soon be lambing season.
