Another fundraising success at hospital
THIS year I am very proud that £352 was raised in our Christmas raffle at the outpatients department of Bridgend’s Princess of Wales Hospital.
Thanks to all who purchased tickets. A huge thank-you to all the main outpatients staff who sold raffle tickets. Special thanks must go to Ruth Bartlett for knitting a festive Santa. Thank you to HCA Gilly Parry for producing an attractive trolley and thanks to all the main outpatients reception staff, especially Wendy Cook for selling the raffle tickets.
We have had excellent success with our raffles and this year’s will go towards the upkeep of our fish tank, which was also bought with charitable funds. I have been overwhelmed that so many people have shown kindness and generosity. I can dare hope our Easter raffle will be as wonderful. Sister Donna-Marie Holder, Princess of Wales Hospital
