Ida is a group consisting of four stunning sopranos who will bring a collection of re-worked operatic arias, chart-topping hits and musical theatre favourites to Porthcawl.

Ida’s impressive versatility within these musical genres has seen them performing their mesmerising show across the continents.

With spellbinding vocals and a unique chemistry, Ida promise to captivate every audience and as one theatre critic said: “This group brings class and operatic flair to modern classics... These girls make some serious sounds!”.

Tickets are available from the box office or from members of the choir.

Newton Pop and Beer Festival: Last Saturday Newton Fest, which is firmly established as Porthcawl’s biggest outdoor charity music festival was held on the ancient green in the beautiful village of Newton.

The weather was fantastic and the crowds came out to enjoy the music and to soak in the atmosphere.

Everyone enjoyed themselves and the music was spectacular.

By ten o’clock the next morning you wouldn’t have known anything had happened there.

Congratulations to Steve and the rest of the organisers for a great day.
