GIVE ZOOM’S IMMERSIVE VIEWS A LOOK
I am reliably informed that some of those people who discovered home-working for the first time last spring are actually missing going into the office. Apparently, catching up with colleagues via Zoom calls “isn’t the same”.
Well, if that’s you I’ve got good news. Zoom is rolling out a new feature called Immersive Views that allows you to make it look like you’re in the office even when you aren’t.
Better yet it makes everyone else on the call look like they’re in the office, too.
So instead of seeing everyone siloed in their own little window, their cutout heads and shoulders will look like they’re all lined up behind a desk in front of you.
Says Zoom: “Whether you want to create the feeling of being in a classroom, a boardroom, a conference auditorium, or your favourite place to catch up with friends, Zoom’s Immersive View assembles up to 25 participants in one fun, consistent meeting environment.”
