Pencoed youngsters are back on the pitch

-

AFTER the restrictions of lockdown, the children of Pencoed RFC returned to play, full of excitement and enthusiasm.

The U7s and U8s enjoyed the restart of tag rugby against neighbours Bryncethin, and the U15s, still under restrictions on contact, hosted a touch match with Nantyfyllon.

The U10s and U11s, following a late cancellation, enjoyed a fun interclub match, while the remaining junior teams travelled to away fixtures.

The club will be further boosted by the return of their youngest members, the Mini Lambs, and the rugby family will be complete when their senior contingents return to training this month in line with the WRU Pathway to Participation.

Anyone interested in becoming involved with the club, get in touch via the facebook page @pencoedrfc or email pencoedmandj@gmail.com.
