Fear has taken over

WHY do I see so many people wearing masks as they walk in the open air, or even when driving alone in their cars? Where’s the science backing up this lunacy?

It suggests a nation brow-beaten by fear – fear which has been ramped up by the political class and certain sections of the media.

I’m all for personal freedom so if people want to continue masking up for eternity, good for them. But come “freedom day”, whenever that is, I’ll be ditching my face covering.
