Electrics on test

The British Motor Show, which is being held at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre in Hampshire from August 19 to 22, will include a large array of electric cars that will be available for test driving on a track.

Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Nissan and Mazda have all confirmed that they’ll be taking part. I’m sure most people will love the quiet refinement of electric cars but you really need to try living with one in the real world for a few weeks.

Tickets for the show are on sale now for £18.50, or £37 for a family.
