Cefn’s barber shop, Morgan’s, is offering a free haircut to anyone unemployed who has a job interview to attend.

Cefn Junior Rider and Rider Tots Training Recommences: Cefn RFC Junior Rider and Rider Tots are starting their preparations for the new rugby season.
Training for Junior Riders (School Year 1 in September and upwards) has recommenced on Thursdays at 6pm at Cae Gof Playing Fields.

Talbot Institute Relaunches
Lunch Service: The Talbot Institute Community Centre in Kenfig Hill have opened its doors for the relaunch of its popular lunch service.
Lunches will now be served every Monday and every Friday every week and the service is open to everyone, of any age.
Main meals including tea or coffee will cost just £5 with a choice of desserts for £1.50
Diners are asked to wear facial coverings until seated and hand sanitiser is provided upon entry for everyone’s safety.

Community Pantry Update: The weekly community pantry scheme at Green Hall is proving to be very successful.
A community pantry supports people who may be struggling to get to supermarkets or who are experiencing difficulties affording weekly groceries due to issues such as limited mobility, not having a car, etc.
People become members of the pantry for a nominal annual fee of £1 and then pay £5 for a bag of food which is dried, tinned and fresh fruit and vegetables worth approximately £15- £20.
You are able to collect food bags each Tuesday from 2pm-4pm.
