Disruption To Bus Services: Due to the nationwide driver shortage,
First Cymru Buses Ltd have decided to temporarily reduce some of its timetables to try and provide a more reliable service.
Service 63 between Bridgend and Porthcawl via Cefn, Kenfig
Hill, Pyle and North Cornelly has been temporarily reduced to every 30 minutes (it is normally every 20 minutes) until 23rd October.
Some of the company’s services will be run temporarily by alternative operators.
First Cymru is reviewing staffing levels weekly and has stated it will increase services as soon as new drivers are recruited and trained.
Bedford Park Investment: A number of nature reserves, parks and outdoors spaces including Bedford Park and Frog Pond Wood are set to benefit from a £580,000 Welsh Government investment secured by Bridgend County Borough Council.
Part of the Cwm Taf Nature Network Project, work will be undertaken to improve and regenerate access to high quality green spaces and engage with communities with plans to develop early years learning spaces.
