Photographer’s baby portrait featured on Vogue website
A BRIDGEND-BASED photographer has seen her work showcased on the Italian website of top fashion magazine Vogue.
Adele Morris’ photographs of a local baby were selected by the editorial team of Vogue Italia to feature online.
She said that having photographs making the cut for the website was a huge accomplishment and something sought after by photographers across the globe, adding that the Vogue editorial team set incredibly high standards for their selection.
Bridgend mum Louise Stone was overjoyed to hear from Adele that her baby daughter’s photo featured online at Vogue Italia.
Adele, 41, who lives in Porthcawl but is originally from Llandybie in Carmarthenshire, is a specialist in newborn and family photography.
She also lectures in media at Neath College and is a mother of three children all aged under five.
She said: “I feel incredibly blessed to have my work recognised by Vogue and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Vogue Italia for the publication and I would also like to extend the thanks to all my clients, who have helped me build my dream and entrust me to create everlasting memories for them.”The photo is of mum Louise holding on to her beautiful baby girl’s hands, lying on textured fabric.
Like most of Adele’s photos the photo Vogue chose to publish tells a story and she believes each viewer will be able to find their own story from the photo.
Adele said “Seeing my newborn work with the Vogue brand attached so soon since setting up my business is a dream come true.
“It makes me very excited about the plans I have for future photography work with my clients.”
