Rwanda is a much improved country

-

IT is 28 years since the genocide took place in Rwanda. 800,000 people were killed.

The Archbishop of Canterbury has stated, over the Russia-Ukraine war, “stop this obscene killing”. The transporting of immigrants from this country to Rwanda he has called an “ungodly act”.

He obviously has not researched the current nation of Rwanda. There are no longer people running around in Rwanda with machetes in their hands. One traveller to Rwanda has stated it is making a lot of progress, with the capital city, Kigali, making a lot of progress with health. HIV and HPV (vaccinations to prevent cervical cancer) are provided to girls. Primary education is greatly improving.

It is a known fact that the greater part of Rwanda is agriculture. Also, there is an abundance of gold, tin ore, tungsten ore, methane and hydropower. Hydroelectric power is one of the oldest sources of renewable energy. It is a clean and a cost-effective form of energy.

Maybe Priti Patel has been a “hard taskmaster” but she is also trying to improve a nation with problems of infrastructure that can be improved by immigrants who would be an additional help with education in schools, support with community health, increased agricultural productivity, tourism and raw materials.

There are 300 immigrants (including 36 children) who have drowned in attempts to reach the UK since 1999.

The French and UK have a lot to answer for with these deaths, especially the French, who should have had enough police to stop them instead of the UK Government pouring millions into French pockets, barely used for the purpose for which it was intended.
