STAR TREK: DEFIANT #1

While the Enterprise D will forever have my heart, I also have a massive soft spot for the plucky Defiant.

Publishers IDW continue an amazing run of Trek universe comics with this new adventure – billed as The Dirty Dozen meets Star Trek.

Defiant is set before the events of the movie Nemesis and sees Worf pull together a crew that spans all eras of Star Trek. The cover shows Worf alongside Spock, Lore and Ro Laren, so it already promises to be something special.

Someone is killing the gods and Benjamin Sisko has returned from a wormhole to save them.

Written by Christopher Cantwell, with art by Angel Unzueta, Star Trek: Defiant #1 is out now, priced £4.90.
