The out-of-contract defender sparked a mass brawl in the Scottish Premiership play-off final when he kicked and punched Lee Erwin.

Red cards were given to Mohsni, Erwin and Fraser Kerr.

His agent said: “I can’t tell you where he is going. But he will leave the country, that’s for sure now.”

POLICE were today probing Rangers defender Bilel Mohsni after his side’s play-off final descended into chaos.

The Tunisian was captured in pictures and television footage punching Motherwell’s Lee Erwin. He also kicked the striker.

Today Mohsni’s agent admitted his career in British football is “over” following the Fir Park bust-up.

The defender sparked a mass brawl at full-time in the game when he kicked and punched Erwin. The 27-yearold is out of contract and Rangers boss Stuart McCall confirmed Mohsni would be leaving Ibrox.

Mohsni’s Paris-based representative – who has asked not to be named – claims the player will struggle to land another UK club.

He said: “He won’t be staying at Rangers after that but I can’t tell you where he is going to end up.

“But he will leave the country, that’s for sure now.

“His career in Britain is over. But that is the way it is.”

Motherwell fans ran on to the pitch to celebrate in front of the Rangers support before being cleared by stewards and police.

The brawl on the final whistle resulted in red cards for Mohsni, Erwin and Fraser Kerr.

Motherwell are set to be hammered by the SFA for a series of incidents that marred their 6-1 aggregate victory over the Ibrox side.

Earlier i n the match Rangers’ Lee McCulloch was hit by a flag pole.

Assistant Chief Constable Bernard Higgins said: “Police Scotland will now conduct a full review of the circumstances and liaise with the appropriate partners, and decide how best to take the matter forward.”

Erwin said he pushed Mohsni “and he reacted badly”. He added: “A player at a club like that should not be acting like that.”

Stuart McCall said: “No-one can condone that sort of behaviour. Bilel’s contract is up but that’s totally unacceptable.

Motherwell boss Ian Baraclough said: “Scottish football doesn’t need that.”

The game doesn’t need that ... Scottish football doesn’t need that
