New retailers deliver boost for mall

-

ST ENOCH Centre in Glasgow is welcoming a number of new retailers to the city, with many set to open this month.

The new retailers include recent arrivals to the centre, Swarovski and Yankee Store, as well as Starbucks and Schuh Kids.

Mr Nick’s, which specialises in authentic Greek food, will also join the recently launched food court which underwent a multi-million pound redevelopment earlier this year.

The arrival of the Greek restaurant further strengthens the Atrium Food Court’s varied culinary offering which includes Chinese, Italian and Asian cuisine in addition to Subway, KFC and McDonald’s.

In addition to welcoming new stores, several existing retailers have extended their leases, including Pavers shoe shop, Claire’s Accessories, Ecco, Thorntons, HMV and Damaged Society.

Anne Ledgerwood, general manager of St Enoch Centre, said: “The new stores and restaurants perfectly complements our existing offering and will give shoppers an even greater level of choice, reinforcing our position as one of the top shopping and leisure destinations in the city.

“It is an exciting time for St Enoch Centre with proposed redevelopment underway including a new VUE cinema and a current application for three new, reconfigured flagship retail units on Argyle Street.

“The proposed development will help Glasgow to maintain its reputation as the leading shopping destination outside of London.”
