Hoops star abused at city airport
CELTIC star Scott Sinclair was verbally abused by passengers at Glasgow Airport following yesterday’s Old Firm clash.
Shocked onlookers watched on as cops swarmed the British Airways lounge at the terminal.
Three people were removed from the airport after the incident.
Ahead of the match, in which Celtic beat their rivals 3-2 at Ibrox, hundreds joined in a Rangers fan group march, promoted by a sectarian flyer that is at the centre of a criminal investigation.
With a “Goodnight Green and White” banner draped across the balaclava-clad marchers at the front, the group sang both celebratory and offensive songs. After the game, police confirmed six people were arrested for minor public order offences.

Glasgow Airport staff confirmed that three passengers were seen directing verbal abuse at the Hoops winger.
Paul Scott, terminal compliance manager at Glasgow Airport, said: “There was an incident at the British Airways lounge and police were called.
“British Airways contacted the police and three people were removed from the flight and airport.”
Celtic extended their unbeaten run against Rangers to nine games with a 3-2 victory at Ibrox yesterday afternoon.
It is not known whether or not Scott was flying to Manchester to visit wife Helen Flanagan, who is pregnant with his second child.
Helen, a Coronation Street actress, is based there during the week for filming.
BA also confirmed that none of its staff members were attacked.
A spokeswoman added: “Our lounges staff were on hand to help manage a disagreement.
“The situation was quickly defused and resolved.”
