GLASGOW Cathedral Choral Society was founded in 1938 for the purpose of enriching the musical life of the Cathedral and the city by the performanc­e of a wide variety of sacred music in the ambience for which it was originally intended: a tradition that has been maintained ever since.

EVENT planner One4TheKid­s is back with its popular Santa brunches at a new venue – Mharsanta in the Merchant City.

Take the whole family along for a brunch. All kids will arrive to a Christmas card-making kit to keep them busy until Santa arrives.

Santa’s elf will be there to cross check all the kids names again the naughty list in advance to the man in red’s visit.

Santa will arrive at 10.30am for a full hour. He will go around each table on arrival to ask all for a story - maybe even a song and a game. Each child will receive a personalis­ed certificat­e and a Christmas gift.
