JOIN the Muppets as they tell their hilarious version of an old, bitter miser’s redemption on Christmas Eve, showing at the Glasgow Film Theatre.

Kermit the Frog plays Bob Cratchit. The other Muppets Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear and Sam the Eagle – take up supporting roles as Scrooge receives visits from the spirits of Christmas past, Christmas present and Christmas future. The spirits do everything in their power to show him the error of his ways and to help him find redemption and lasting happiness.

ONE of the nation’s favourite pop bands, Madness, have embarked on a major UK arena tour this month which will see them land at the SSE Hydro tonight, with special guests The Fratellis.

The Sound of Madness is a combinatio­n of people from North London who got together in the mid to late ‘70s and came up with a cacophony of music, noise, clothes, dressing up and having fun.

SANTA is at Snow Factor Braehead this festive season. Organisers have two magical Santa events up their sleeves this month: the brand new Santa and the Snow and and Dine With Santa which has been going strong since 2012.

Set to be Glasgow’s biggest and completely unique Santa event, Santa and the Snow will take children on a journey through elf school, Santa’s workshop, meeting Santa himself and a custom-built snow play area. Tickets for Santa and the Snow are £19.95 per child.
