A “STRONG smell” alerted police in Renfrewshire to a cannabis haul worth tens of thousands of pounds.

Officers were called to the property in Paisley’s Walker Street on Wednesday, November 13.

They forced their way inside the building, where they discovered more than 60 cannabis plants.
