Gorbals ‘YouTube killer’ is jailed after stabbing inmate
ACONVICTED killer who stabbed a fellow inmate in his cell was jailed for 27 months. Iain Stevenson, 32, pounced on Graeme Anderson over a “disagreement” at HMP Low Moss in May last year.
Stevenson, who has a previous conviction for culpable homicide, was later snared by prison officers with his clothes blood-stained.
He pleaded guilty yesterday at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the assault to Mr Anderson’s injury and danger of life.
Sheriff Ian Fleming told Stevenson: “I have no choice other than to impose a custodial sentence.
“You have previous convictions including a High Court conviction for culpable homicide.
“This is the second time you have assaulted someone in prison.”
The court heard prison officers had cell.
Prosecutor Lauren Staunton said: “There was a pair of blood-soaked socks he was wearing.
“There was also a blood-stained shirt in a bag in his cell.
“There was also a prison-issued razor floating in the toilet but there was no blade attached to it.”
Mr Anderson was in his injured.

Stevenson’s cell
Mr Anderson had been in Stevenson’s cell and left to return to his own.
Stevenson was seen approaching Mr Anderson’s cell with something up his right arm before around 30 seconds later.
Mr Anderson was treated at prison for three wounds to his ear, neck and arm.
Lawyer Paul Mullen, defending, told the court that Stevenson had apologised to Mr Anderson.
He added: “There are no feelings by Mr Anderson.
“He was in the accused’s cell and there was a dispute as he took what Mr Anderson said personally.”
Mr Mullen told the court that Stevenson had a previous conviction for a prison assault in HMP Kilmarnock.
Stevenson was jailed for eight years in October 2007 after pleading guilty to a culpable homicide charge.
Stevenson, aged 19, and three friends were originally on a murder charge for killing William Smith, 21, near his home in Glasgow’s Gorbals area in December 2006.
