Sturgeon’s SNP must put Scotland first over Indy bid
YOUR reader Alex Orr exemplifies exactly what the SNP is all about. This is a party that is formed on creating division, aggravation and grievance and if they do not like the result or answer that is what they set out to do, to manipulate the facts and figures to suit their own agenda.
Alex and Nicola in the Scottish Referendum in 2014 promised us a once in a lifetime vote, they obviously lied to us as they obviously had no intention of keeping their word and within months started to aggravate for another referendum, despite the fact they had a minority vote.
In the UK Brexit Referendum of 2016, they once again were in the minority vote but immediately what do we get, aggravation that Scotland is being dragged out of the EU against its will and now in this election they still have a minority of MSPs and still cannot reach 50% of the vote on their own, so what do they do – they form an unofficial coalition with the Greens to inflate the numbers to try and influence the electorate.
Prove to us that you put Scotland first and get the day job right and stop your obsession with Indy and you may get your wish. Ian Stewart

YOU’D think with this going on, they’d be in a hurry to speed up the vaccination process.

VACCINES are working where uptake is high, there shouldn’t be another lockdown as they were touted as saving the NHS, that job has been done.
Historically deaths lag cases, this isn’t happening so much now.
I don’t believe the public would stand another lockdown in Glasgow, but I also don’t believe there’s political will for it.
Keep testing and vaccinating. What would also help is actually paying those who have to self isolate proper sick pay.
