Can we stop demolishing beautiful city buildings?
DID anyone think of asking the political leaders on Wednesday night when are they going to stop the demolition of beautiful buildings?
These could have been refurbished and brought back into use, and why were these buildings allowed to get into an unkempt state in the first place? Kenneth MacKinnon

CAN someone tell me who in the roads department of Glasgow City Council is signing off and approving for payment of these repairs? Bill Love Mosspark
THE number of horrible singleuse cups which I pick up on litter picking is terrible (Glasgow Coffee Festival founder calls for ban on single-use cups, Friday).
They aren’t even as easily recyclable due to the plastic coating they have on them.

THERE will always be sectarianism in Scotland and this is down to the families, churches and football clubs.
I know people who live just to harass people because of what religion or football club they follow, the parents or grandparents actively encourage children from an early age to hate and assault, both the churches and football clubs refuse to condemn those who are active in such abhorrent and hateful activities.
The parades from the Republican and Protestant sides of our communities just fan the flames of hatred and sectarianism and should be banned permanently. This is supposed to be the 21st century, we are supposed to have evolved.
There is no place for sectarianism in Scotland. Caroline Harrison Glasgow
I AM dreading this weekend’s Old Firm game. Glasgow city centre will just be full of drunk teenagers and the sound of sectarian songs.
These scenes do nothing for our city and just put tourists off visiting it.

WHEN will Glasgow City Council take action on the section of Sauchiehall Street where the former BHS store sits?
It must have powers to organise a compulsory purchase order to make this building less of an eyesore. It’s such a waste of space now.
