‘I’M STILL STANDING’ PRIZE UP FOR GRABS

THE Glasgow Times has teamed up with the promoters of I’m Still Standing – the ultimate celebratio­n of Sir Elton John – to give away three pairs of tickets to the show at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall this month.

Joel Buckingham and his band The Jets are coming to the city to give us a spectacula­r night with some of the best, most beloved, songs from the musical legend that is Sir Elton John.

I’m Still Standing will take audiences on a musical journey spanning 50 years of Sir Elton’s career.

Songs you will hear will include Crocodile Rock, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Rocketman, Sacrifice, I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues, Candle In The Wind, Circle of Life, Daniel, and many, many more.

For more than 10 years Joel has authentica­lly recreated the magical performanc­e of Sir Elton. He is able to capture the mannerisms and high energy of the artist impeccably – with extravagan­t costume changes throughout the show to add to the authentic Elton feel. From the outrageous to the elegant and beyond, this is a night no fan of Elton John is going to want to miss.

I’m Still Standing – The Music of Elton John will be at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall for one night only on Monday, May 9.
