Former Scotland forward and Sky Sports pundit

JAMES McFADDEN insists Borna Barisic should have learned his lessons when playing Celtic by now.

The left-back was caught sleeping when Celtic opened the scoring on 20-minutes.

“It is something Celtic have done all season. You know when the ball comes into that area you have to open your body up. You have to be aware of where Jota is. You have to make first contact or go and meet the ball then clear it.

“It is no surprise it has happened again to Barisic.”

FASHION SAKALA Rangers goalscorer

FASHION SAKALA savoured a “special” Old Firm strike but rued the miss that cost Rangers a derby victory over Celtic.

The Zambian cancelled out a first-half opener from Jota as he beat keeper Joe Hart with a clinical finish that was drilled home on the angle at the near post.

Sakala later struck the woodwork as he was denied what would have been the winner on a day where Rangers were left frustrated at their share of the spoils.

Sakala said: “We knew how important the game was for us. It’s always difficult to come and play here but I think we gave it everything. “We tried, especially in the second half, and gave more than 100 per cent to come back.

“It [our character] was very important and at half time we talked about it. We had a very good conversation that we should come back in the second half. It’s just unlucky with some of the chances we had but I think we tried our best.

“It was special [to score]. It was a very special goal and very important for the team. “But I think I could have done better for the other chances I had. But I can say I tried my best.

“The most important thing for us was the three points, that’s what we were looking for.”
