WE asked readers on our Facebook page how easy have they found it to arrange a GP appointment.
So far, we have been really lucky and always got an appointment or at the very least a telephone consultation. I know services are stretched and they’re doing their best. Thank you Kittoch Medical in East Kilbride.

It’s an absolute shambles. Having to call at 8am to get an appointment only to be placed in a queue on hold that can be anywhere between position one and 1000 – for anything up to an hour and longer. And then to be told there’s no more appointments and to try again tomorrow.

We have to call at 8.30am for an appointment. You call at that time and there’s no appointments.
So, if you’re lucky you’ll get a phone call back from the doctor, and they are usually calling you from home.
