Bus firm up for top title

A MAJOR bus firm has been nominated for a huge award at a prestigiou­s event.

McGill’s Group has been shortliste­d for the Public Transport Operator of the Year at the 2024 Scottish Transport Awards.

In total, the travel company received nine nomination­s.

The award ceremony will take place at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel on June 20.

It aims to bring the transport community together to recognise and celebrate industry achievemen­ts across the country.

Frontline Employee of the Year:

Kary- Ann McGregor ( Driver at Xplore Dundee)

Kian Greene ( Network Support Officer at Xplore Dundee)

Mohammad Ramzan ( Driver at Xplore Dundee)

Excellence in Transport Accessibil­ity:

McGill’s Group’s Royal National

Institute of Blind People ( RNIB) Training Programme
