ANIMALS IN DISTRESS

Glossop Advertiser - - News -

ANIMALS in Distress takes in abandoned and unwanted pets from across the north west. PEARL: Pearl has come from a multi-cat household, she was one of 22. Pearl can be a little standoffish at first, but she is not used to being stroked and cuddled. Pearl, we think, is approximately two to three years old and is a neutered female. Pearl gets on with other cats and has previously lived with a dog. HARRY: Harry is a lovely little gerbil, he is approximately 12 months old, he’s very friendly and been well handled. Was brought into us after his owners could no longer care for him. DEXTER: Dexter is a two-year-old neutered male, who was brought into us after his owner became ill. Dexter is quite a shy cat at first and would suit a quieter household with no or older children. CHARLIE: Cheeky Charlie has been with us quite a while now, he’s such a sweet little chap. Charlie is a male hamster who is approximately 18 months old. He is quite friendly but could do with more handling.
