ED Sheeran may have played Manchester this month - but he isn’t the only superstar on the calendar in 2018. We’ve got a whole host of new announcements this week – from the return of dance masters Orbital to a line-up of intimate gigs from upcoming artists.

King No One are heading to Manchester this November, on the back of their 2018 UK tour.
The band are also set for some top festivals this year too - including the Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington. You can catch them at the O2 Ritz on November 23.

Glasvegas will play a date in Manchester later this year to celebrate their 10-year anniversary.
Marking ten years since the release of their Mercury-nominated, self-titled debut album, the band have arranged a UK tour which will take them to 12 cities in October.

The Coral have announced plans for a lengthy UK tour kicking off this autumn.
It comes in support of the band’s new album Move Through The Dawn, billed as a summer-fresh piece of pop-addled psychedelia that drops in August.
The Merseyside band will be joined by the fantastic She Drew The Gun on all dates. Opening in Newcastle on October 3rd, the band will then hit Birmingham, Leeds, and Sheffield.
The Coral will play London’s KOKO venue on October 11th, before the tour wraps up in Manchester’s historic Albert Hall on October 13th.

Freya Ridings has just announced a new show at the Manchester Dancehouse Theatre this October, along with two other UK venues.
Following the success of her single Lost Without You - which has now surpassed 13 million streams - the three date tour will support her new single Ultraviolet. She’ll also perform at Oxford O2 Academy 2 and Birmingham O2 Institute 3 in the same month.

Recently appearing on James Corden’s The Late Late Show, Alice Merton has announced she’ll be heading to Manchester after a packed North American tour this summer.
Describing herself as an ‘English artist with a Canadian accent’, the singer will grace the stage at Manchester Deaf Institute on September 11.

Dance masters Orbital have announced an upcoming gig in Manchester this year to celebrate their first new album in five years. The new single Tiny Foldable Cities is set to be released on September 14 - and fans are already getting excited.

Manchester is set for A Bowie Celebration after it was announced The David Bowie Alumni Tour is coming to the city. Keyboardist Mike Garson - who played more than 1,000 concerts with the late pop icon - revealed the show is coming to the O2 Ritz on January 11, 2019.
Musicians who appeared on stage with Bowie, such as Earl Slick, Gerry Leonard, Carmine Rojas, will join with Garson to play some of the legend’s greatest hits in front of what’s expected to be a packed-out crowd.
