ED Sheeran may have played Manch­ester this month - but he isn’t the only su­per­star on the cal­en­dar in 2018. We’ve got a whole host of new an­nounce­ments this week – from the re­turn of dance mas­ters Or­bital to a line-up of in­ti­mate gigs from up­com­ing artists.

King No One are head­ing to Manch­ester this Novem­ber, on the back of their 2018 UK tour.

The band are also set for some top fes­ti­vals this year too - in­clud­ing the Neigh­bour­hood Week­ender in Warrington. You can catch them at the O2 Ritz on Novem­ber 23.

Glasve­gas will play a date in Manch­ester later this year to cel­e­brate their 10-year an­niver­sary.

Mark­ing ten years since the re­lease of their Mer­cury-nom­i­nated, self-ti­tled de­but al­bum, the band have ar­ranged a UK tour which will take them to 12 cities in Oc­to­ber.

The Coral have an­nounced plans for a lengthy UK tour kick­ing off this au­tumn.

It comes in sup­port of the band’s new al­bum Move Through The Dawn, billed as a sum­mer-fresh piece of pop-ad­dled psychedelia that drops in Au­gust.

The Mersey­side band will be joined by the fan­tas­tic She Drew The Gun on all dates. Open­ing in New­cas­tle on Oc­to­ber 3rd, the band will then hit Birm­ing­ham, Leeds, and Sh­effield.

The Coral will play Lon­don’s KOKO venue on Oc­to­ber 11th, be­fore the tour wraps up in Manch­ester’s his­toric Al­bert Hall on Oc­to­ber 13th.

Freya Rid­ings has just an­nounced a new show at the Manch­ester Dance­house Theatre this Oc­to­ber, along with two other UK venues.

Fol­low­ing the suc­cess of her sin­gle Lost With­out You - which has now sur­passed 13 mil­lion streams - the three date tour will sup­port her new sin­gle Ul­tra­vi­o­let. She’ll also per­form at Ox­ford O2 Academy 2 and Birm­ing­ham O2 In­sti­tute 3 in the same month.

Re­cently ap­pear­ing on James Cor­den’s The Late Late Show, Alice Merton has an­nounced she’ll be head­ing to Manch­ester after a packed North Amer­i­can tour this sum­mer.

De­scrib­ing her­self as an ‘English artist with a Cana­dian ac­cent’, the singer will grace the stage at Manch­ester Deaf In­sti­tute on Septem­ber 11.

Dance mas­ters Or­bital have an­nounced an up­com­ing gig in Manch­ester this year to cel­e­brate their first new al­bum in five years. The new sin­gle Tiny Fold­able Cities is set to be re­leased on Septem­ber 14 - and fans are al­ready get­ting ex­cited.

Manch­ester is set for A Bowie Cel­e­bra­tion after it was an­nounced The David Bowie Alumni Tour is com­ing to the city. Key­boardist Mike Gar­son - who played more than 1,000 con­certs with the late pop icon - revealed the show is com­ing to the O2 Ritz on Jan­uary 11, 2019.

Mu­si­cians who ap­peared on stage with Bowie, such as Earl Slick, Gerry Leonard, Carmine Ro­jas, will join with Gar­son to play some of the leg­end’s great­est hits in front of what’s ex­pected to be a packed-out crowd.
