WHAT WE LEARNED
THE GO TO MAN
WHILE Pep Guardiola rung the changes there was one man he was never going to leave out - Raheem Sterling.
The 23-year-old is becoming close to undroppable for the Blues this season and he’s particularly enjoyed feasting on the Cherries.
That’s now eight goals for Sterling in six games against Bournemouth.
Sterling caught fire at the start of the second half. His run across the defence which ended with him hitting the post would have been a goal of the season contender had he completed a clean finish.
His goal came from his own driving run before feeding the ball wide to Danilo and then continuing his run into the area, on the spot to fire home the rebound.
