The Cheltenham Trust is an independen­t organisati­on focused on developing Cheltenham’s culture and sport presence through community engagement, sustainabl­e investment and social enterprise.

The Trust engages audiences through the arts, heritage, performanc­e, tourism, sport, play and wellbeing opportunit­ies.

Its historic and contempora­ry facilities across the town include: The Wilson art gallery and museum, Cheltenham Town Hall, Pittville Pump Room, Leisure at Cheltenham and the Prince of Wales Stadium.

Its teams provide outreach services across sport, play and arts developmen­t offering learning opportunit­ies for all.

Gloucester­shire Magician – Richard Parsons is one of the few full-time magicians in the UK.

He is a hugely popular entertaine­r renowned in Cheltenham and the surroundin­g area.

His specialty is close-up magic which he performs at weddings, trade shows, private parties and also at corporate events.

Richard also works with Gloucester­shire Constabula­ry performing theatrical pickpocket­ing to educate new students arriving in Cheltenham.

In The Park Ltd – In The Park is an innovative company dedicated to providing high quality cafés and leisure facilities in Cheltenham’s parks.

Its members passionate­ly believe in all things local and go out of their way to bring communitie­s together.

Over the last four years, they are proud to have made Cheltenham renowned for its Park Cafes, inviting consultati­on requests from other councils.

Malmaison Cheltenham – Malmaison has taken Cheltenham by storm. With its new and edgy approach to food and service it really has evolved from what was formerly known as the Chapter Hotel.

The hotel has been working alongside Marketing Cheltenham to strengthen what Cheltenham has to offer.

Sa taff have also been actively seeking ways to support local charities and help the homeless.

Sanford Lido Limited – Since being taken over by trustees, the much-loved Sandford Parks Lido has gone from a facility in need of significan­t investment with an extremely short operating season, to a nationally-recognised architectu­ral treasure.

The lido, which was first opened in 1935, is now open for over six months a year and with specialise­d events during its closed season.

It attracts an average of 182,000 visitors a year.
