Group welcomes paralympian to open block
A NEW stable block has been opened by British Paralympic dressage star Natasha Baker for Cotswold Riding for the Disabled.
The new block, based at Cheltenham Racecourse, was finished on schedule, within budget and replace half a dozen old stalls next to the riding school.
Claire Jenkins, Cotswold’s general manager, said, “The new secure stables will allow us to house ponies close to the school overnight, which means our volunteers will no longer have to walk them back to their fields in the dark and rain. “This will really help our after-school clubs to run smoothly whatever the weather.”
