Turn to the dark side with Alfa Romeo
ALFA Romeo is exploring its dark side with new special edition versions of the Giulia, Stelvio and Giulietta models. The newcomers are badged as the Nero Edizione – Black Edition in English – but judging by the pictures they’re more of an off-black or dark grey.
The black heart of these limited edition models can, however, be found in the trim detail and new design elements which, on the Giulia and Stelvio, include a dark glossy front grille, V-shaped insert on the front, mirror caps and exhaust tips and burnished badges on the rear, dark finish alloys, gloss black window surrounds, and roof bars on the Stelvio.
Inside, both cars add aluminium kick plates, sports pedals and footrests, with the Giulia also adding 40/20/40 split folding rear seats.
The Giulietta Nero Edizione comes with dark glossy finishes on the V-shaped grille, mirror caps, door handles, fog light bezels, the oversized exhaust pipe and the Giulietta badge. Tinted rear windows, side skirts, sporty rear bumpers and dark interior headlining are complemented by 18-inch dark gloss 5-hole alloy wheels, with monochromatic hubcaps.
A number of high-tech features are added as standard including adaptive cruise control and an upgraded infotainment system in the Giulia and Stelvio while the Giulietta gets a tech pack which includes a seven inch monitor and reversing camera.
Dealers are taking orders now with prices starting from £23,270 for the Giulietta, £34,990 for the Giulia and £40,090 for the Stelvio.
