Turn to the dark side with Alfa Romeo

ALFA Romeo is ex­plor­ing its dark side with new spe­cial edi­tion ver­sions of the Gi­u­lia, Stelvio and Gi­uli­etta mod­els. The new­com­ers are badged as the Nero Edizione – Black Edi­tion in English – but judg­ing by the pic­tures they’re more of an off-black or dark grey.

The black heart of these lim­ited edi­tion mod­els can, how­ever, be found in the trim de­tail and new de­sign el­e­ments which, on the Gi­u­lia and Stelvio, in­clude a dark glossy front grille, V-shaped insert on the front, mir­ror caps and ex­haust tips and bur­nished badges on the rear, dark fin­ish al­loys, gloss black win­dow sur­rounds, and roof bars on the Stelvio.

In­side, both cars add alu­minium kick plates, sports ped­als and footrests, with the Gi­u­lia also adding 40/20/40 split fold­ing rear seats.

The Gi­uli­etta Nero Edizione comes with dark glossy fin­ishes on the V-shaped grille, mir­ror caps, door han­dles, fog light bezels, the over­sized ex­haust pipe and the Gi­uli­etta badge. Tinted rear win­dows, side skirts, sporty rear bumpers and dark in­te­rior head­lin­ing are com­ple­mented by 18-inch dark gloss 5-hole al­loy wheels, with monochro­matic hub­caps.

A num­ber of high-tech fea­tures are added as stan­dard in­clud­ing adap­tive cruise con­trol and an up­graded in­fo­tain­ment sys­tem in the Gi­u­lia and Stelvio while the Gi­uli­etta gets a tech pack which in­cludes a seven inch mon­i­tor and re­vers­ing cam­era.

Deal­ers are tak­ing or­ders now with prices start­ing from £23,270 for the Gi­uli­etta, £34,990 for the Gi­u­lia and £40,090 for the Stelvio.
