IT is an exciting time for fashion lovers in Cheltenham, after two more new shops opened this week.

Urban Outfitters and Luke 1977 both open their doors at The Brewery Quarter for the first time on Tuesday.

They are next door to each other in the part of the complex that fronts on to lower High Street.

And their arrival in the town centre comes after last week’s opening of John Lewis & Partners and Next in the upper part of High Street.

The imminent opening of Urban Outfitters has been well documented but less has been said about the launch of luxury menswear brand Luke 1977’s shop.

The brand’s clothes have been worn by celebrities including Rio Ferdinand, Gareth Bale, Will Mellor and Stormzy.

Luke already has ten stores at sites including Birmingham’s Bullring, Manchester’s Arndale Centre and Westfield in London.

Demelsa Coleman, marketing manager for The Brewery Quarter, said: “This is an incredibly exciting time for us.

“We will have welcomed a total of seven new tenants since this time last year.”

She added: “We feel that this perfectly demonstrates our continuing commitment to bring desirable and successful brands to Cheltenham.”
